Description

Ooh what's this? US and UK space programmes could merge? What is Prof Q thinking? How could he sell out like this? I blame those fools in whitehall - blinkered and shackled in their pre-war thinking. Bah! This is the 25th SSD cover I've done and it's one of my most dramatic I feel. Another of Duo's lovely rockets and some weird asteroid thingies. All rendered in good old Bryce. Thanks for looking, chums... Iain (Bugger - just spotted a word missing... it should read "Professor Quatermass DISCUSSES the..."... oh well)

What are they thinking indeed? As my old Grandfather moaned on reading this, "Do they know what this will lead to, the death of the British Space Program and eventual development of a space shuttle where Astronauts will no longer be explorers, just mere bus drivers".
