Description
This is the first of the two collages of the City Library murale in Lyon. It shows the higher part, the bookshelves, and the vertical strip where it's written "Walls are the dwellers' skin". The shelves are full of little surprises, like the cat playing with the letters of the word 'smile', the doves, the smoking pipe, the glasses as well as the glass of cognac. A Venetian mask (the doctor) and a woman peep among the books. Under the roof a spider hangs from her thread (I think of the spider as her since usually the male is eaten just after the act, as far as I know...not a bad idea in some cases ;-D). And a classic flying saucer is cruising under another part of the roof, ready to spy what the French read.
