Description

Jasmine was in the field, hunting. I could see in the water at the other end a male & female swan. While she was occupied I thought I would go & take some pics. Jasmine caught site of me walking away & started to charge after me. I was in a bit of a dilemma, do I abort my plan (didn't want Jasmine to chase the swans) or carry on. Oh no she saw them, off she went, I do know swans would be more likely to hurt her rather than she them!!!! She got close & just stood for a while, by this time I had caught upto her. She was so interested in them, they took not a blind bit of notice of her & the female kept on feeding with the male keeping his eye on her & Jasmine. Jasmine did a bit of swimming out to them, then would quickly turn away if the male hissed at her. She wouldn't let on but really she was scared of them :o) Thanks for comments etc, so appreciated. xx

Discretion is the better part of valor! Time to leave the water, Jasmine! The swans seem supremely unconcerned. Wonderful images!

Great collage of her checking them out Barbara and your right that she would have been the one to have been in trouble if she had gotten too close.

Wouldn't you give a small fortune to know what she was thinking? You've done a good bit of photojournalism here.

Oh, this is delightful! Those swans are beautiful and big. They must look huge to Jasmine. But she did venture out for a look. Great shot! CC
