Description

Another attempt to "Poser-ise" a hand-drawn image sent to me by a friend. This is a work in progress, and was done as a test render to see how the "claw-hand" and the catsuit with trans maps and magnets would turn out. The shoulder pads are the ears from the Dragon by Anton Paul Kisiel, in the Free Stuff area, the Hip Cloth is by Aery Sense, (Awful Soul?), and the blades on the claw hands are Sharkey's Fantasy Bowie and Glen Cole's Fantasy Sword (Dagger Style), both in the Free Stuff area. Things I already know I need to do: 1) I think her face needs to be more oval 2) The edges of the suit arms need "metal-ising" - Does anyone have any suggestions how to do this? (I've tried the grouping tool, the mesh doesn't match up - it spirals...) 3) I'd like to create a morph on the claws to spread the blades... again, any ideas anyone? 4) I need a scarf from somewhere (hint hint :P) 5) The hip cloth should change to match the drawing. This was a quick test render and I didn't want her to catch a cold :P 6) Her left hand needs a glove. 7) She needs more of a "WondaBra" effect on her breasts... Are there any decent morphs that do this, I seem to have lots that make her look like she's wielding nuclear weapons, very few that give that "held in place" look.... Other than that, has anyone got any suggestions for improvement, or just general comments? Thanx for spending the time to read this lot :) Fychan.

Very nice so far.... as far as point #2, you could try to cheat it through using a texture/bump/reflection map combo (granted, it won't be perfect... otherwise, it's modeling time). For piont #3, all ya gotta do is import the blades into your fav modeler and rotate them slightly apart (set the rotation point at the base of the blade and tweak em). For #7, which model are you using as a base? If it's Vicktoria, check out MorphWorld (http://www.morphworld30.com). They've got some great stuff. Can't wait to see what you come up with.

Very nice indeed. For # two, you could create the morphs with a little UVMapper assistance instead of using the Poser grouping tool. Make each blade a group in UVMapper and save the model, then import it to Poser, click the group tool and then spawn props. You should now have three separate blade props. Save it once with all three as is for the starting position, just make sure you turn off the ground :) Then to make the spread morph, select each blade in turn, and with the joint window, make sure you put the origin/center at the very bottom of the blade. Now you can rotate the blades and export that as the morph target. Just message me if this attempt at a quick reply leaves some confusion :)

Thanx guys, I'll give those things a shot. And no, the model is just the standard P4F with a decent 3000x3000 texture and a few morphs... :)

very nicely elaborated. i think #7 is very good for a wonderbra effect. i'd concentrate on the other things ...
