Description

The Santiago Metro is a very modern subway system with quiet trains and modern, clean stations. The system was not very extensive at the time of my visit, but it is being expanded. Good question. I guess it all depends on how close that 8.8 (wasn't that what it was?) was to this system. That scale of a quake is almost unimaginable. The old earth is really rocking and rolling of late.

I love the way everyone stands and looks down the track, as if they might not notice the train had pulled in if they weren't staring right at it. Excellent image!
