Description
This was originally a Paper collage on a face model.
I was forced to go to a course for "personally improvement" in a period, I was unimployed, years back and they made us do these collages with cuts from week magasines and stuff. I was really negative about it and felt, I was sent back to kindergarden, but I ended up making 5 of them LOL!
Here I have Photographed it and played with it on the computer. This is the result.

Hello Helle! That face looks really great! I am happy you showed us...its very beautiful and the result is fantastic,thank you!! I know what you are talking about! the models and stuff we can use:) it remember me something i did looooong time ago:))) yet, if you cover that models with paper (whatever it is) mixed with white glue and paint over it (when it is dry) with alcohol felpsafter you cover it with UHU-transparent glue and let it dry and after it all,LOL, you pull fire gently...you have a fine result:) it shines and the colours are brilliants and vivid and looks like coloured metal...very interesting and it became strong material in the end...and you have a very fine mask!! (yet you can model it from the beginning:)) Thank you for the memories...and hope you show us more!

What a wonderful result, and then on top of it a wonderful digital tweak. This reminds me of a mask made out of that lapis lazuli stuff that the ancient Egyptians had a thing for...if you look at their art, you can see that they found every possible excuse to use it! This looks truly ancient, like something from the past, another world, or even another past. It's enigmatic also...I wonder what this "person" is thinking as I look at her expression. From the shape of the face, I definitely think of this as a woman, maybe a goddess on her day off or something. This is fantastic.
