Description

This is the new Fw-190 by Touchwood. Besides some small cosmetic issues this is a real nice model. Fw-190 A/8 of 14/JG54 ,Jan 1945, Saschen/Germany. JG54 is instantly associated with the Easter Front, but IV Gruppe was established for home defense duties in July 1944. Equipped with 190A6 and A8A/C with Wb151/20 packs, they fought against US B17 and B24s.

Nice angle and sepia effect...just need to delete the JG2 Cocks Head insignia of the nose though. Great work

Well Penters is technically right. However some pilots who had flown with units earlier in the war and had been injured, transferred to admin jobs etc. found themselves back in the cockpit flying for other units. Some of them would put their old unit markings for good luck, remembering their own heritage and just letting other pilots know that they had been around. So yes but as we all know nothing is black and white in war.
