In a park somewhere in New York City. I don't know what this was supposed to be but it seems to make a fine bed.

Ah!.. I was wondering what they did with the big e from the enron building. Gotta luv that corporate sponsored art. & yet as cold and hard as the whole structure appears .. it still seems to be protecting, even nurturing, the dreamer within it. Then again, that's just your perspective. ;-) Cool image, Mark! T.

And I bet in the heat of summer the surface warms so that after dark it is a cozy spot to warm the buns. :-)

I'm going to be in New York City soon. I wonder where this is. It would be cool to stand in the same spot. Wonderful image! Superb composition, with the tree trunk and the leaves in the foreground following the curve of the sculpture and the color differences of the grass mirroring the base of the sculpture. There is excellent depth, which focuses the eye on the sleeper. Without him it would be a very attractive shot, with him it is an outstanding one! Beautifully done!

I'm with Andrea, the sleeper aggrandizes the work. In zoom, it's a big wonderful shot, the sculpture unwinds and dominates, but the nature around it and the sleeper take it all back. Fine eye on you to get this. It's really a terrific catch.
