Description

Captured back on 10/29/07, at the 6th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California. Much better viewed full size. There were so many vehicles at this particular annual event that I was clicking away like a man possessed, and it being hot, people-crowded and noisy out on the field didn't help, all of which affected the final results. Also, mea culpa, 2008 was the first year I began responsibly recording the make, model and year of vehicles at auto shows, so this 2007 shot is one step above having been titled as a mystery car, tons/tonnes of fotos of which I have from 2006 and 07, that I intend to post soon so the viewers can help identify them. So long, thankx for checking this out, and for your comments and/or faves.

Most fascinating 'speciment' of the auto world. Love the overal metal finish suite the car well.

Great collage! Is that an American Flag on the tire? How odd.

Interesting how they made a V-12 that uses V-8 manifolds. (You'd think they could still borrow parts from truck inline-6's on the exhaust.) I'd suspect at least four cylinders on each head that probably don't flow as well, but then again that's besides the point. These cars definitely are more for show and doing crazy stuff than making engineering sense.

I'm always amazed how spotlessly clean these vehicles are. Nice work.

Super collage Harry. I recognize the Chevy Impala from a previous post. Can't get used to your new avatar. All 4 POVs are spot on. Dana

Has to be a 30's Cadillac engine...but a very rare and unique setup regardless..

You'll get absolutely no help in vehicle identification from me, but it will be fun to see how long it takes others. It looks like there is a little flag caught on the wheel in the last one. I like the tire treads. The wheels look a little splayed. Is that the way they are supposed to be? Great images!
