Description
He was one of the NightWalkers, Granted immortality even among his own long-lived kind though a deal with the Dark Gods of his world.
Through the kiss of Dragon's Fire and the rending of his soul in the flaming pits of the DragonLands, he was marked by them. Scorched with the emblem of the reptilian he now was bound for his eternity to serve. Their protector, guardian...and ultimately, their betrayer.
He led Knights of the Realm to the roosts of the great beasts, let them slay the great creatures, partook of the blood of his former winged masters, then turned his bloodlust on the Knights he had double-crossed.
The Halls and Hoards of the Dragons of WestFall now were his alone. And he would feast upon any who dared to challenge him. With the blood of the dragons burning in his veins and the powers that granted him, he felt invincible!
For ages beyond counting, he stood unopposed. He would stand at sundown, overlooking the great wasteland he was master of, and bless his luck with the deal with his Gods. Countless hero's fell under his sword and played prey to his vicious fangs. Growing so bold as to demand tribute from the nearby lands to feed his unquenchable thirst.
None would oppose him! None DARED!
...or at least, that is what he let himself believe...
After all: Pride, it is said, comes before the fall.

As a thank you to the wonderful comments from my doodle 'Dragons Fire King', especially those who said it would make a great tattoo...I just had to take it to that level and use it as such! And I must say, it worked out better than I could have hoped.
A diversion, yes, from the Clerin series, but, I assure you, it is still being worked on. My muse and I are just butting heads over a few...creative...embelishments. Until then, I hope you enjoy!

What an excellent tattoo the fierce dragon turned out to be! Love the story .. will you finish it? please?? it is already so very intriguing! I know in my mind how it will end, one doesn't betray dragons, especially draongs of this nature. But it's your tale, so it will end however the dragon's tail leads you, grins. Wonderfully done!
