Description

Building my own chess set, for the experience. The board is a simple plane, with a custom material created in DAZ Studio's Shader Mixer. The pawns are made of several primitives saved as an OBJ, then reimported (to make the figure easier to handle). They also have materials from the Shader Mixer, except for the brass rim, which is from Georgehaze's Fast Metals shader collection. Lighting is a simple distant light, and there is a "hidden" dark-gray environment sphere to help bring out the reflections.
