I like to dedicate this post to somebody who loves spiders...'durleybeachbum' or Andrea, I do hope you like my little twist on them.
First of all let me explain, that this one is not alive (you may have guessed by now)...
I'd found this feather-light body of a locally known 'Huntsman-garden-spider' (they don't make webs!), but looking so very intriguing with their legs so neatly folded under, the shape reminded me of the space station from *2001 Space Odyssey*.
Well, the rest is history...I just had to Google a nice Nebula and with a little manipulation, to realise my Sci-fi concept.

Super manipulation! Great catch of this unfortunate fellow. Very interesting death pose. Makes one wonder how that came about. Anyway, he looks right at home floating in the aether 'twixt the worlds.

A wonderful manipulation for a super result. That spider looks very cool and most definately how I like to see huntsman spiders, as they can look so threatening as they can be very big can't they.
