You might spot me at Kirra Beach, the South-Eastern end of the Gold Coast, Australia, if you like beach walking like myself... but there is more ! My son Jeff (*jif3d*, here at Rendo, it helps to advertise, ooops)... he took this pic of me in 2000, then manipulated it in photo-shop and it's still one of my favourites. Just very briefly about my past... *born in East Prussia; *grew up in Berlin, West Germany; *migrated to "OZ" in 1960, (not the Wizard of Oz) but...AUSTRALIA ! I guess I was more into '2D' since early childhood, and thinking that my son Jeff may have inherited some of my artistic skills, because he translated them into '3D'. I am hooked on photography, since I discovered cameras... that's it in a nutshell. BTW - one of my fav.quotes.... ** I cannot give you the formula for success, but I can give you the formula for failure - which is trying to please everybody !** that's a wrap... Cheers Brigitte.

My first thought was, "Where did she find a caterpillar on such a cold day?" He looks like he's covered in frost! But now I see he is on the moon... What an interesting idea. Good work!

Oh, he's gorgeous...kinda reminds me of something they'd encounter in "Men In Black" only without the sarcastic dialogue...or is this a rather sarcastic neon catarpillar? One never knows...I love the way you describe him as having "abscounded"... ...Just that simple little description gives him such personality, and your post work is fantastic. The neon effect gives a slightly ghostly impression that I really enjoy. So needless to say, this is superb. That's not surprising, your gallery is full of superb stuff. You really have a great eye for little crawly things.

How delightful he looks after all his treatment. Maybe he was just escaping all the rain you look to have had up there. I love his ghostly look.

Aliens coming in from the cold.... and what better landing pad than your poolside in Oz...he looks comfy, relaxed... waiting for the chrysalis stage to transform into a stunning butterfly, so he can get home to his own planet... although he may just stay in the warm world of the future... cheers!
