OHH Mark, this is one of your most gorgeous scenes yet. I say yet, as I know, I can expect ANYTHING from you. You get a little camera in your hands and you make a million out if it... in no time. I dont know what you are made of. lol. But this peace is just breathtakingly beautiful. And I tell you, I dont mind looking at ice and snow, when it is captured so superbly. I adore this shot.

Well, well, well... I have to agree with Helle - this is definitely one of your best photos yet! WOW Mark - everything is just perfect. The last light of the day turning the sky a pinkish hue reflected in the snow. The barren trees add height and interest and the composition is a classic "thirds" compo! Perfect! I also see your heart in this image... beautiful!!!

Just when I think you can't surprise me again, you do!! This is beyond beautiful; it's glows and sparkles and gives off so much light it seems electric. It seems kind of familiar, maybe one of the places we walked last fall. But no matter, just WOW!!!

I've been looking at some snow scenes I've recently taken from the air...I see drizzled icing on mountains reminding me of an iced bunt cake. Here in your fine photo I see white icing like my mother used to put on hot cross buns. What is it with me seeing icing everywhere? Whatever it is, it leads me to say that I love the way the master baker has placed the icing on the cake you've presented us with today. These early morning shots of yours always involve fresh, dawn light...just painting the edges of elements in your scenes. Wonderful.

Stellar POV and DOF, plus gorgeous early morning colors and light/shadow effects revealed in this creme de la creme of a capture, Mark, with really cool snow textures! And, yes, it does look cold out there.

I love this shot -- the wake forming those long, slow rollers is just gorgeous, and feels just right with the snow and ice. The light is fabulous! I can't believe the shots you're getting. You've taken to photography like nobody I've ever seen! Phenomenal results, dear one. You kick a$$!

...io non amo molto il lago; trovo che il fondale sia poco compatto, dandomi la sensazione delle sabbie mobili; ma trovo comunque questa foto stupenda. Penso che anch'io mi sveglierei all'alba per catturare questo meraviglioso momento.:)

The tender dawn lighting is superb! A breathtaking view along the shore! Those waves are smooth as glass and just as reflective, amazing. Your camera is like a paint brush in your hands, smiles.

I love the light and color! They seem to merge into a single entity. Everywhere the sun is being welcomed with glowing colors. Even the shadows seem to be in a moment of waiting for their turn in the sun. In the depths of winter, here is a glorious moment of rebirth. Excellent!
