Description
Captured back on 10/29/07, at the 6th Annual Wings Wheels Rotors & Expo, held at the beautiful Joint Forces Training Base (JFTB) in beautiful Los Alamitos, California.
Much better viewed full size.
These labor-of-love models are capable of flight, and did so, noisily performing aerobatics, such as loop-the-loops and aerial combat with each other. Along with the models themselves, the owners had brought along tons of auxiliary gear to the event.
And, those are real live veteran Lilliputian pilots at the controls.
Ta-ta, thankx for stopping by, and for any comments and/or faves.

Good. I was hoping you'd have another pic or two of these remote controlled models. Harry, I've looked and looked and don't see the flat tire. But anyway, thanks for these. Excellent clarity and focus enabling us to catch all the details.

Without the people around you'd think they were full-sized; great collage and shots!

I love model planes... They are indeed adorable! There used to be a model plane airport on the way to my church and on Sundays, when returning, we would sit and watch them fly! Great images Harry! :)

Great collage. They do something like that up here too at the air museum. I've never gone though.

These are way cool... Near me, there is the European Model Aircraft Championships held.. Last year, they had a de Havilland Comet Jet Airliner with a 11 foot wingspan!!!!! And yes, it was powered by small jets! I see also on your main picture a Mustang and thunderbolt! Cool.... Rob
