Description

I must confess that to some extent this picture was created by coincidence. Originally it is another my old ball pen drawing. I made lots of errors while making it. You cannot erase a ball pen line, but there is a trick to make small corrections... using a very small amount of white Ecoline ink (opaque) or white "watercolour" (in fact rather gouache than watercolour). In the case I overdosed this trick. Then the picture was placed on the wall and was damaged by sunlight (both paper and ink), but inequally - due to the white layer. Now I scanned it, then used "Tone balance" option in MgxPP8, and I was surprised... there appeared colours, that I had never made myself. They are some artifacts, generated by... I do not know, by what. I then applied "Chunky watercolour" macro - and here it is.

Thanks for sharing the technique..also you have captured the state of depression very well..downturned head eyes averted, a deep sense of despair and loneliness...a very moving picture

Very good work: it may be an old drawing, but Art (like yours) is ageless. Thank you.

I love this, a little like a goya during his dark period of painting... but of course unique to yourself. Almost forgot to mention Francis Bacon too.
