Description

I have to give Randy (vaggabondd) credit for this one. He posted a poem today with a title that triggered this one. Thanks, my friend!! he loves me he loves me not he loves me those first moments holding tightly breathing in the essence of each other's body and soul the wonder of it all exploring enjoying exciting inviting not knowing not caring about the world outside all too soon it's over and it's back to the real world then I know he loves me not 3/10/10

Wonderfully succinct and it reminds me of something I read in a short little novel called Weetzie Bat which seems like a novel right up your alley...it's incredibly inventive and giddy. But anyway, one of the characters declared "Love is a dangerous angel," and this poem captures that perfectly. Love is so complicated and weird, and often doesn't exist when it should or when you'd really want it to. This captures that beautifully, especially in the end when the realization hits in that cold, sobering way. Wonderful!
