Description
hello, and thanks for viewing! and a special thanks to anyone who takes time to comment.
this is the first of the images of things i'm working on. the images i've posted in the past few months have all been from about a year or so ago. my posts still have a ways to go before they catch up with my work, but i thought i'd show something of what i've been doing since i last made a finished image (which was more than a year ago). since then, i've taught myself some modeling in Blender, scripting in Matmatic, and other fun stuff.
this first piece is only sort of a WIP. it's one of my early attempts, and i've learned a lot since then. i definitely like the design, and think it worked OK as an outfit, but i made a lot of mistakes that mean i'd have to start from scratch to make it work. for instance, nothing is UV mapped yet. since i probably will make a similar piece in the future, i'd be interested to hear what people think of it and how it might be improved.

As a shape, I love it, and it looks like it would stay on as a practical garment! It needs the uvs for those of us who don't know how to do that ourselves, though.

two things, I'd shorten the dress just a bit - personal preference - ya know... I watched the Oscars and see these actresses in these expensive dresses walking around dragging all this material and the only thing I'm thinking is is they are wearing a disposable broom/mop - lol... that dress at the end of the night has to be ruined - lol and thing two... fix the panties, I see crackage - lol
