My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
Â
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
Â
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!

Love the softness of this shot. A stark contrast to the harsh work that I do. The color steals the show here. Very well done.

I've said it before, I'll say it again: nobody photographs flowers like you. You touched this up with "watercolour". Right?

There are times when pink comes across as nothing more than a very wimpy, weak red...and there are other times when pink just grabs your eye and declares its pinkishness with glee. The pink in this picture is the latter...and it's a marvelous shot, perfectly presented too! The pink to one side arrangement really showcases the petals, the faint (and not so faint) shadows, and the whole beautiful complexity of the flower. Great dark green in the background too. There's postwork here, very subtle, and very dreamy. I really like that! This is a rockin' shot!
