Description

This is the view for all the curious, as you are coming into the Venetian atmosphere. The arch is the same seen here caused by solar radiation. Here they call it Northern Lights. On Venus we call it Caladhiel nes Laisidhiel or Light of Life. Some nights the cloud cover is incredibly thick. This is one of those nights. All you can see of the planet is the mountain peaks piercing for clouds. The women on the planet will not get to enjoy tonight's light show. To all those that read the Mars and Venus post. I told you had some stashed. This was done in Vue. It's been a long, hard and scary week. Sorry for my absence. Much love and peace, Cheri

I am so glad that Cheri likes to share,....well...maybe mostly. Last weekend we shared the flu, not really the most fun thing, but at least we enjoyed it together! Thursday she had an episode that rattled us both, ended up seeing a doctor, but they could find nothing wrong,..hmmm. I wonder if it had been me, the one with insurance, if the might have pursued things a bit deeper, ran a few more tests. Hopefully this was just a freak one time event. I like it much better when she's felling good, and then plays and turns out things like this. Love the colors you used here baby!! The halo effect is pretty cool, I can imagine this being the view as we near the planet! I'm very proud of you!

This is an intriguing and nicely moody image of your mythic Venus...I have to say that it's a rich composition, both in words and image. I love the fog bank covering all but the highest mountain peaks and the arc of light above. Superb work. Sharing the flu is never fun: I had a head cold and slight fever caused by a virus (or was it a bacteria?) that I'd named Edna: she wasn't very nice, but she's gone now, and that's good. Hopefully you're feeling better! I have catching up to do (blame Edna for part of that!) but I'm glad I started here! This is great work.
