Description

Namibia 2010 I was lucky enough to snap a few usable gull shots this past holiday. The amazing thing is that there wouldn't be a single gull in sight and as soon as the guys start packing up and discarding the leftover bait, they just appear from nowhere! This is exactly what happened here and you can see them appear over the dune! It was very late afternoon and the fog has already started coming in, so I had very little light to work with! Thank you for your very valued comments on my "The Zeila" upload of yesterday! Stay well! Hugs Carin xx

Super shot, I have noticed that even in the UK well away from the sea that as soon as a farmer starts ploughing hundreds of gulls appear, even when you are no where near the sea.

More proof that these particular avians are conspiratorial, and taunting at best. The mischievous gull pops out well against the darker, striated background, Carin.

A gull will never turn down a free meal. Is that your truck on the left with the ten foot poles (I wouldn't touch that fish with a ten foot pole)? You guys are serious fisherfolk! This is a great capture. Very nicely done!

Fabulous shot and the gull looks fantastic in ZOOM mode. Also impressed that you brought such long surf style fishing poles. I hope that means that you ate well that evening. Dana
