She did not see the reflection of a woman with an old, wrinkled face. Instead she saw the memories of the past, although hiding from the shadows of time, they're still loud and clear in her mind. Her children now grown, seven grandchildren, the man she shared those fruitful years with, passed away a decade ago... all she has now are the lingering thoughts of yesteryears, to look back and wait when her time comes. She knew there will be more time to share with her family, more hugs to give to her grandchildren and plenty of moments to enjoy. When my dad passed away years ago, she bravely faced her fears and sacrificed a lot for us.
