Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Since this is California I wonder if I could pick it up for under $300K? Great series of pictures showing the sea's power.

This view is so interesting to me because I don't think I've realised the beauty of the opposite bank or whatever the green is on the other side.. It is good to get the wider picture.

Guess it's too late to try and sell the place at a profit, huh? LOL This really puts it in perspective.

Wonderful scene!

Oh yeah, a goner for sure! Terrific clarity, solid color and light/shadow in the foreground, contrasted against the bright diaphanous effect of the background, Maz.

Wow ... that really is falling over in quite a dramatic fashion! Great capture.

Looks like it is nearly in the water...if I recall, it began life quite a ways from the shore. I like the dramatic lines of the collapsing roof.
