Hi, I'm Marilyn. Â I've been posting here on RR for a few years now and thought it was time to update my profile. Â It's been wonderful learning so much from the amazingly talented people here. Â I've had the chance to meet many in person and some have become great and good friends. Â Starting with a Kodak Brownie camera when I was about 7 or 8, moving up to Instamatics, Polaroids, then the Pentax K1000 that really got me on the way, I've been looking at the world thru a lens for a long time. Â Got the bug honestly; my dad was a photographer and gave me the gene!! Â Digital changed the world and I jumped in with both feet. Â You would've gone thru 100's of rolls of film in one day the way we can shoot and delete all day long. Â Progess...it can be awesome sometimes.
At any rate, RR rocks, the talent is over the top and I'm just gonna keep on shooting!!
Thanks for looking and keep those cameras rollin'!!
peace.....marilyn

Something's not quite right about this structure... but I can't put my finger on it... Cool picture, thats one lopsided barn!

London bridge is falling down... It is a shame but a wonderful photography subject! Great one Marilyn! :)

Great capture! Good thing you got it before it's gone.

Oh, no...it really can't be long now. The sand looks like it is simply snacking on the barn a little bit at a time.

Oh dear, it is being swallowed up! Of course, a good storm could uncover the whole thing just as easily. Great capture!

Much closer to its demise than I suspected! Wonderful shot!

Wow, talk about quicksand! It looks like the old barn has been caught up in it! Still reminds me of the Titanic in 1912. Where are the lifeboats? Beyond superlative clarity and lighting effects in this capture, M!
