G'day,
and thank you for the chance to introduce myself......
okay, that sounds waaaay too stuffy.... how about this then...... I was raised on Canadian Army Bases which limited the type of grand exposure that my peers would have enjoyed... (In High School, every one of my City Friends would spend Monday mornings talking about Saturday Night Live.... I had no idea what an Ackroyd or a Belushi was....). but you learn.......
I am mostly self taught as no respectable art school would have anything to do with me.
I make movies, live and animated, am one half of a Jazz Duo (called Three Men With Mono.... I play with another animator, the astounding Richard Reeves... and yeah we know, a duo is less than 3 men... but hey....Grand Funk Railroad isn't a Railroad, Iron Butterfly isn't an insect.... and Pink Floyd is well...)
I work in digital photography, Poser (which rules), Bryce, Deluxe Paint 4 (yes I still have working Amiga's), and anything that functions for me...and I'm developing a new animation technique for using with inexpensive digital cameras.
I am currently living in Medicine Hat, Alberta, with 2 robot dogs and my dreams....
and unless you've made other plans, have a great day!

Still alive and kicking I see, but not all those people you shot...hehe ! Maybe they can change the new digital camera beep sound to the classic "T-chak", I know you can do it on mobile phones, so it shouldn't be to hard for the boffins to add another feature like this. A bit of Industrial espionage, my fist camera was a Pentax SP 1000, I wonder if it was made before or after the Yashica K 1000 ? Anyhoo, neat and crusty capture ! ~Cheers~

sorry bro but cameras are alien things to me. i was never able to do decent photos ,you could give me the best equipment on the market and i would come up with shitty shots hehehe. i really have no talent there, but maybe i am not concentrating enough. might sound strange but only since i do art?? myself i see the pictures/photos different, for me before a photo was a photo and an art image was an image never saw anything deep until +-april/may 2008.crazy hehehe. but i am learning.

Terrific camera Colin! My first was a Zenith, the light meter didn't work, but still took some ok shots..Even developed the negs and printed the photographs (black and white only) in a makeshift dark room. Great fun.
