Okay another render to tease, heh, as this stuff won't be ready for a while yet. Now, the mapping on three of the heads I could probably improve with what I've learned, but doing the frigging closed mandible morph is such a pain in the *#$ that I haven't bothered. I still may though I don't know. The only one that has recent mapping is Wolf. For those that aren't familiar enough with predator, the one on the far right is referred to as Wolf, or rather based on the predator referred to as Wolf from AVP:R. Though I have considered rigging the heads in Blender as I can rig the mandibles, pose them how I want and then export them as morphs for poser. It's an option I may yet try. The helms I had before will all be making appearances again, but updated. I'm currently working on an updated Celtic helm. No more sharp edges, cleaner meshes, better mapping, better textures, etc. The hair is made up of two layers, each with 200 bones. They have to be parented to mike's head, and/or the pred head rather than conform. I had initially set them up to conform, but in the name of efficiency I decided against it. This allowed me to set the hair up for one head, then load it up for another head, and move the dreads around to where they need to be, adding them back to the library as another set for said head. Sped up the process considerably. I may still yet to smart props for some of the beads too like rings, elastics, leather things, etc. The hair is also mapped, as are the beads. No textures yet though. This will be something like I've said before that will probably always be added too as well, so once the initial product is available, there will be free stuff for it that will probably grow. More helms, additional armor, different plasma casters, new weapons, etc. I want to create a very diverse set of figures and props that allows many customized predators. Much better than just one standard figure. Hens the multiple heads. I'm also reworking the Original Predator chest harness and plasma caster that I did a while back to bring that old school feel to him too. This set of armor you see here is largely inspired by Predator 2, AVP:R, and Narin sculpts. There will be other textures as well, though likely the only thing that will be for sale in a stremlined package will be the armor, weapons, netting, claws, etc. Maybe some body textures. Heads, dreads, feet,sandals, and biohelms and probably texture sets will be available as gifts and free downloadable items as well. But like I said, a while off as is. Most of what you saw in the other pic is all rigged, with the exception of the knee cops and the bladed gauntlet. Anyways, enjoy. Oh, and which is your favorite predator? Let me know in the comments.
