Description

These old posts were sitting in about 3 feet of water, all by themselves. Something about them appealed to me.

You just MUST wade out there and get a close-up of those encrustations! This is enticing! Or maybe a little row would be warmer?

Like a little gathering of friends having a chat. You can see where the water levels change. I like it too. Aloha

Interesting shot of these poles, they do look interesting, makes me wonder what they are for, do they mark the edge of a channel or something similar..

I like it: Tara said "striations." That's one of my favorite words. I love this picture too...it's deliciously minimalist, kind of like an Arvo Part musical composition with just three notes played on a piano. I love the crisp, cleanness of this. I have some catching up to do, but I'm at least starting with this beauty. The thumbnail grabbed me instantly. This is fantastic!

I love things sticking up out of the water. Lots of them in Everett yesterday in and around the sloughs and the Snohomish River!
