Description

I walked under this bridge last week along Humboldt Bay. It's the Samoa bridge, connects Eureka with the Samoa and Manila peninsula. Didn't run into any trolls this time.

Interesting to see what connects these names "Samoa and Manila." Trolls not here? Nice shot. Aloha

Maybe the huge Humboldt Squid hide underneath it, planning their escape for when the day when Old Man Blinkings comes fishing their way with his trusty jig!

A very solid structure! I'd have thought trolls might prefer a more rustic type of home!

That's a long bridge. I'm used to seeing tall bridges but not long bridges in Northern CA.

Excellent POV and capture! I think Trolls prefer bridges over small rivers. ;D

Great shot, hate those trolls, especially when they jump out at you!

Do you mean to imply that this bridge spans most of the Pacific Ocean all the way from Eureka, California to the island of Samoa, and then onto Manila in the Philippines? Good lawd, why wasn't I aware of this engineering marvel? Whatever the case, a terrific POV employed to depict the deep perspective of this monster, M! And, I like the reflectivity and the texture of the water.

That's a heavy duty bridge. No wooden pilings or trolls under there. Dana
