Fantastic image! It looks like some alien creature, washed up on the shore. I love the detail and the patterns the tendrils make. Excellent eye and capture!

Great capture! my first thought was aliens resting on the ground, waiting for the right moment to attack and TAKE OVER THE WORLD!!!!

WOW, Mark! What a great pic! Such weird beauty, I really love this!! The shapes look quite threatening, as if they about to leave off lurking there and make a sudden leap for the face.

Your ability to visually cull extraordinary from ordinary backdrops is truly amazing. I'd walk past this kind of thing daily and not notice it. That's half your talent. Being able to capture the essence of the extraordinary, and present it in such a way that even an unobservant git like me can appreciate it, is the other half. Frankly, I'm jealous. And I have a new backdrop for my desktop.

Looks like a fossil. Petrified ivy tracks? Wonderful looking and the lack of color really emphasizes the texture. Great eye Mark!

I too thought it a fossil by the thumbnail. Well Seen!!

Oh my gods! What a stunning picture. Others have stated how they thought it was an intriguing fossil, and I did as well. I guess it's something of a fossil as it's a remnant of something that isn't there any more. I love the textures and the whole organic feel of this. Stunning! Simply perfect!
