*As part of my story there are several points that I need to clarify. I have over simplified and taken liberties in several areas to make for a better flowing story.* In the near future, America discovers a rare element that completely breaks its dependency on fossil fuels. As a result America and her allies have become targets for the rest of the world as they attempt to acquire this new technology. America has been forced to fight several wars in an effort to protect its new power source. To increase its ranks the military fully integrates qualified women into all combat fields in an effort to bolster enlistments. My main character, Joyce was a history major in her senior year when her family was killed in a terrorist attack at a near by power station. Upon her enlistment into ROTC she was found to have special skill sets coupled with her need for revenge to make her a perfect candidate for the Special Forces. After completing her required raining she was assigned to a unit conducting operations in Burma. While training the Burmese military in anti-insurgency tactics, their group was ambushed by a mercenary group attempting to steal American technology. The leader of the mercenary group was picked his ambush site well clear of the American base and had planned on eliminating the patrol and sneaking into the base as the returning patrol. During the ambush, several members of the mercenary group balk at shooting a woman and are forced to chase Joyce into the jungle to prevent her from raising an alarm. Discovering the lost temple Joyce is immediately drawn to the Onyx statue on one side of the main room and is amazed at its level of detail, she momentarily loses herself in examining the idol as the mercenaries rush in and she is captured. Joyce attempts another escape before she can be subdued and is fatally shot by the mercenary leader. As she falls against the Onyx idol dying, Joyce pulls her pistol and uttering an ancient curse taught to her by her Grandmother, shoots the mercenary leader as she dies thus freeing the imprisoned Priestess. As he is shot, the leader is thrown against the white marble statue he is standing in front of and begging the Gods to spare his life frees the now vengeful Witch Doctor who unwilling to wait for him to die, forcefully exchanges places with the leader in order to be free of the statue. I will add more to this story base as I post the other pictures in this series. After that I may start to show off some of the test panels or screen shots of the different sets and the world of my comic.
