In an attempt to get back into my art work, I committed myself to help design a fetish comic book that will hopefully be good enough to sell to an online comic site. I picked up a new laptop with my tax return so I could run poser 8 and so far I am not real happy with it, but that is another story. First off a HUGE thank you to Charley for the use of his Joyce morph for the heroine of the comic, it is funny how a little thing can bring things back to life. The back story for this heroine starts in an ancient forest a thousand years ago when an evil priestess was imprisoned in an onyx statue by a witch doctor until released by prayer served in blood. The main character Joyce, yeah I know real original right? Well Joyce is the first female member of a Special Forces team fighting a gorilla war in the jungles of Burma. During a patrol, her unit is ambushed and everyone is killed but her. Joyce escapes into the jungle, hotly pursued by the gorilla force until they all stumble onto the ruins left from the ancient battle. As Joyce tries to escape back into the jungle, she is fatally shot and her blood splashes on the onyx statue of the evil priestess. With her dying breath she turns and shoots the leader of the gorillas and then falls dead at the statues feet. With her violent death the priestess spirit is freed and inhabits Joyce�s mortal remains, repairing all of the damage and making her nearly indestructible except to the gem Onyx witch imprisoned her. During her imprisonment the priestess had time to realize her mistakes in life and has vowed to help those oppressed and wronged. I had actually spent some time trying to find the name of an ancient evil goddess from a different culture, but figured that it would be easier to just develop an evil priestess to save time and to prevent offending someone. The priestess assumes Joyce�s life knowing everything that the previous soul knew, and quickly grows distrustful of the government she works for and leaves the service and starts a personal security business that allows her to help those she feels are in need of her help. She quickly realizes that she needs a cover to conceal her new powers and develops the superheroine identity Lady Shiva. As a foot note to the story, the gorilla leader that Joyce shoots as she dies frees the witch doctor who was imprisoned with the priestess when the spell was cast. However the witch doctor was tricked into casting the spell without knowing the price it would cost him and it drove him mad. The now evil witch doctor forcefully takes over the body of the gorilla leader in order to take revenge on the priestess and the rest of the world for allowing him to remain imprisoned for a thousand years. I have three of the four renders, Joyce before and after, and the gorilla leader before but I am still working on the after. Hopefully I will have it ready in three days when I can post it last. I look forward to any ideas you all can offer in the designs of these characters as they are not final yet. Yes I know that she does not have ankle breaking high heels and a costume that leaves little to the imagination but I wanted to develop a heronine that could actually fight in what she was wearing. This is not to say that she will not end up in situations where she will have much less or will be able to have her own free will for that matter. I will explain more as the story and test renders are posted.
