Description
Crossing over .. from winter to spring, from darkness to light, from this life to the next. That's what I thought when I saw this fractal form. Two souls .. one helping the other from winter to spring, from darkness to light, from this life to the next ...
This is just one fractal .. bpclarke and bart doetsche's gnarly bubbles script. Lots of tweaking, and voilá!
You can get the script at Deviant Art, in the fractal resources section.
I'm so happy that you all enjoyed the picture of the B-dog at the Hollow. It's his favorite place to be, too. He's so funny when we get home, we have to drag him out of the truck because he goes on strike, he wants to go back out to the Hollow! I don't blame him.
Thank you all for the terrific comments, and the faves, all so much appreciated!

This is so great! It really has an ethereal feeling to it and expresses your thoughts so well.

The beings seem hunched and timid....makes it kinda spooky. Very lovely forms and smokey texture, but my knees are knocking a little.

looks like a dragon on the right offering something to a little girl - cool... the dogs that have gone up to the cabin get out of our vehicles and sleep for three day - from exhaustion = lol

Lovely! Transitions often need help, even ones that are necessary and welcome. :)

this was during the time when I was only online here & there, and I was barely in any galleries. But this was one of your fractals that left me almost wordless, because it's so sensuous and caressing, yet at the same time so haunting. Your title & description are perfect for it, the fractal communicates all that. Maybe you were feeling 'crossing over' as you made the image: Maybe you shaped the image with that feeling inside of you. (And you know, with Mina's passing, which I know hit you very hard, this suddenly becomes a very fitting image of her light shining in the regions deep inside us.) A very haunting & sensuous vision. Re the design, etc...as I've said, probably more times than you want to hear, I've not mastered the fractal universe, and am still freaked out that those things move without me doing a thing. But having worked on them several times now (no, I won't be posting any soon, unless I beg for mercy in my description), I can at least appreciate more of what you do now. It's still amazing how you shape them & work them into these beauteous images. Gorgeous sensuous veils swirling around each other, transparent with beautiful concentrated edges; beautiful color groups with lots of blues & greens, and then those gorgeous violets & green-blues in the top (where the textures are to die for). And lots of black space too, which you've always used with real sensitivity. (Black is 'easy', but using it well is hard. You use it well all the time.) And it feels like a microscopic capture of organisms overlapping, with one on the left seeking someone 'inside'. But your description brings out a deeper vision, which is woven into the image. Mysterious & dark & lit at the same time, and very, very sensuous. Beautiful work once more, Rita.
