Description
This image is dedicated to Ana, (Igolochka). She is a fantastic artist, and a very wonderful lady and friend. Ana is amazing, and creates the most beautiful computer art you have ever seen. The images she creates are wonderful, and her characters always have style. She adds a magical touch to her art, and you can see so much of her inner beauty in it. She has been a wonderful friend to me, and patient while I created this dedication to her. Ana described her family to me, and her lovely country of Russia. She has many fantastic memories, and it sounds like a truly magical place. It was my honor to do this dedication for this very special lady. Please take the time to visit her gallery, I promise it will be a pleasure. Thank you everyone for taking a look, I am grateful to all of you.

Russian Tea Party (For Igolochka): When Ana was a little girl she lived in Vladivostok, Russia. She had many wonderful memories there. Her two best friends in all the world were Oksana and Vera, they were like sisters to Ana, and she loved them so much. They played lots of games while growing up, like (Hide And Seek) and (Dolls). Their favorite game was when they played house, and drank tea. Ana would ask her Mom for cakes and candies, and the girls would take food to their playhouse. Ana got her cups and saucers out every time her friends came over. They loved to pretend they were adults, in this way. Oksana's, small dog Bim was there also. He was having fun, and begging Ana for food. Ana's cat, Barsik sat in the chair, where he could have a better chance for food. Ana said she hasn't seen her friends in a long time, but cherished their memories together. This was my humble attempt to create one of those beautiful memories for a wonderful lady.

I really like the realism and the overall energy in this image! It radiates with life and that true "closeness" of those that are together! Wonderful characters and props indeed, the details are lovely, and definitely so very Eastern European-like! Wonderful work and dedication Dave, as always your big heart shines thru! Funny I was just telling Alex yesterday about the tea parties I had inside my 'fort' on the hill behind my grans house. I wondered if my Shirley Temple tea set was buried there as I don't recall what happened to it...I enjoyed your writing for your friend and was surprised that she is from Vladivostock, I have friends from there, tho I don't see them anymore(they are in Washington state)They are the ones I told you I taught English to:-)Thank you for your visit and your wonderful heart as always!

Wonderful! I now remember my tea parties with my friends and how we used a tiny china teaset and enjoyed tasty pretend food. Imagine cabbage leaves rolled up with suger! Thank you for such a memorable image! fav

I missed this one... Haven't been able to get to the computer like I use to and when I do get the chance, I've got a couple programs that are screaming for my attention - lol I really love the fact that you like creating child hood moments. At heart we are all still children and would love to pick up a GI Joe and throw him down the stairs and say: Look Mom, I'm tough and no broken parts - where's the war - lol... I had the cool GI Joe that was 12 inches talk, the clothes, the fuzz on the head for hair, the scar on the face - never got into the tea party scene... My friend Jimmy who passed in 2007 had a sister that was always trying to get me alone - girls were scarey - lol ... I think you aught to aim at getting an upload done every month and then pick it up from there, we're almost into the 5th month and you've got 2 upload to show for the year - and I thought my gallery was getting neglected - lol

You care for your friends here and it always comes through in your images. The facial expressions and poses are fantastic. That puppy is just too cute. He doesn't have to beg, there is a muffin for him on the plate. The girl is carrying three muffins and there are two on the table, one for the cat the other for the dog! Silly puppy! Wonderful!
