Description

I almost passed this one by. Captured 3/22/10, early in the AM, within walking distance of my platitudinous place. Much, much better viewed full size. Somewhat odd that this was not only the only leaf that had water globules on it, it was also the only leaf lying on the sidewalk or lawn next to it. In fact, the whole area was bone dry except for this brittle solitary leaf. An anomaly I don't feel like addressing at the moment. Toodles, thankx for dropping by, and for any and all comments and faves.

Even before reading the interesting narrative, this leaf is an awesome collection of shadows, veins and droplets. Then there is that blob opposite the stem??? Wonderful capture. Dana

This is so wonderful Harry. You left just enough space for a nice short verse to go along with this gorgeous leaf.

Excellent! Wonderful detail of the drops and veins! I love the different sized drops and how on some of them the shadow is much more visible that the drop. Very interesting about its solitary state. Time for Rod Serling to start narrating. I really like these images!

Wow Harry...first I like the way this caught my eye from your thumbnail...then the spooky presence spins me up with all sorts of possibilities...all a little strange. Weren't any Leprechans prancing under a nearby bush were there? LOL. Excellent work my friend.
