Description
Captured 3/22/10, early in the AM, about 1.3 miles from my heady homestead.
I know it's been done before, but this is the first time I ever took pics of this rather fragile and ubiquitous weed.
Adieu, thankx for the peek, and for any and all comments and faves.

Nice captures of these; I love all the detail you see when looking at them closely. Zoom is excellent; well done!

And for a weed, when in bloom very pretty yellow...and so fun to make a wish on when they are gone by...we used to have a blast blowing these apart as kids. :-)

I say never enough picture of dandy. Such an amazing weed with the fluffy ball structure. I like the dof on the 3rd shot. Good job as always.

Those are so nice, Harry. The background really makes the first one stand out.

Those are some dandy flowers.. Great shots. I am sure they will be covering my front lawn in the next few weeks as spring finally approaches... Super work!

Harry...I huffed and I puffed...and I couldn't blow any of them away:-))) Good jb. They are at once dainty and yet again...weedy and seedy...and a pain when they blow all over your yard.

Oh, I love them! What wonderful images of these puffy seeds. We get them here too but they are rather small! I really like this! :)

For something so impossibly invasive, they are beautiful, especially the way you show them!!

The middle one is particularly nice!

Beautifully done! They all seem to have a pattern within a pattern. Same with me, as I think my upload was my first, sucessful try with a macro of the seed head. They look so soft.
