Description

This house was destroy by the strom in 2005. FAMA had just brought in the new trailer last year. Now the old trailer have to be torn down. Got about two weeks left. I took this shot just after I took out the inside and the out side of the trailer. Halve of the tailer out side was off already when I took over. i doing it by myself. This is is just before I started to knock it down . I mean I took out the sides so the roof will fall down. I was really hard on me for i took out the back and side of the trailer wall and it still was standing. I did get it down before i left yesterday but i was very tried. I had to use a 20 pound hammer to take out the wooded studs. I had to take out the bottom and top of the studs for if I did not the studs I just knock the bottom off wil keep the roof up. I off today for I too tried to work to day. Oh I took out two windows and had to cut the tree in front the same day I took the walls down and lower the roof. I had to finish it in one day for they have been know of children comeing around to play and I did not wish the roof to fall on them thanks very much for loking and comments and favorites too

Good heavens, Jock, we're too old for this! :-) I recently took down a storage shed and a large aviary and nearly spent a week recovering. :-) Funny how hard it is to take down a trailer and yet, they are the first to go in a bad storm...LOL

Man, that looks like a lot of work! Very thoughtful of you to think of possible dangers and get it to a certain point in one day. Bet your glad you're not doing this in the heat of the summer. Great shot!
