I loved the series 'The Streets Of San Fransisco!! Karl Malden was a legend, and just as an aside, how many members here remember who played the role of his sidekick?

Yes, I remember...Michael Douglas as Steve Keller was Karl Malden's sidekick...hmmmmm, where did that memory come from. Oh, I know...i cheated and looked it up:))). Interesting POV...must be from way south of the city. We lived here too for two years...but off to the left (west) at the south end of the Golden Gate Bridge on the Army post called The Presidio of San Francisco. Our set of quarters overlooked San Francisco Bay, Alcatraz and downtown San Francisco...a million dollar view by todays standards for sure.
