Description
Captured 3/25/10, early on an overcast morning, within walking distance of my languid lair.
Much better viewed full size.
They were so pretty I took several pics of these many beauties, which is my modus operandi addiction in situations like this. I know that each one could stand on its own, but because I have several thousand still unposted photos in my files, each demanding equal time, I don't have the patience or desire to show each one separately, so I use the shotgun approach, and let the chips fall where they may.
These were a bear to research, so I'm still confused as to whether they are orchids or iris or both.

Excellent series of shots. I cannot figure out whether they are orchids, irises or lilies. ;c) I have three of these plants around my pond garden. I love them. They last about a day each.
