Description

Namibia 2010 I am not referring to the cheezy film of the early 80's with Brooke Shields in my title. LOL... This blue lagoon is in Walvis Bay, Namibia. Last year there were very few flamingos but this year they were everywhere! I was thrilled to see them back. There are only a few on this side of the road but on the other side were very many! I just loved the contrast in colors between the water and dunes!!! Thank you for all your fun comments and favs on my "Pelican Attack" upload of yesterday! I really enjoyed to read through them! Brooke Shields, with her beautiful eyebrows, was rather young in that film about two young lovers having at it on the Blue Lagoon way back when, Carin. Along with the gorgeous vivid colors and DOF, a super depiction of sharp textural effects in this amazing shot, young lady! Namibia lives!
