Has not happened to Me for a while now.. A tourist area in Melbourne Australia tried to ban the taking of Photographs within one of the most photographed regions here.. As a protest, more than 200,000 people with cameras and mobile phones paraded and took photos of the signs forbidding the taking of photos.. The signs were removed within 48 hours.. The city of London has reassured photographers they will not be prosecuted..!!

I can understand to a point the anxiety of the powers that be, with regard to terrorism and the like, butsome of these so called officers of the law have their own agenda. Nice work Richard!

A beautiful shot, but you can't really blame the guy for being a little paranoid. It's a Carnation, right?

Doesn't it always figure, when we're minding our business taking in the beauties around us, we get questioned? Still a fabulous shot even after the troubles for it.

Richard this really is one beautiful pic, I can't get over the brilliant colors here. Sorry about the police and it is sad when we are made to feel like the criminals in our own land.

Great shot, Richard! It's a shame that you (we) get questioned so thoroughly when all we're doing is appreciating the beautiful lands around us.

A gorgeous shot. So red and beautiful. Yes, I believe that more and more such intrusions into our freedoms will become more commonplace.

Take a printout contact sheet of your photos and a business card..not only will that make them calm down, you might get some business;) But it's a hassle--we have a refinery here that has the most amazing shapes and textures (designed by a mad Steampunk person, I swear) and of course they don't want to have anyone taking pictures.
