Description

I wish to give a sincere apology to all for my couple months absence. Especially in the middle of wrapping up a series. Not being one to cry on a shoulder I will simply state that life has been hard of late and that I will endeavor not to let things interfere further with my posting. My last post in this series is of the north wall. The southern wall here is so unlike the north wall posted in part V. It is spectacular to see the striking differences when standing in the middle of this formation. This POV just happens to show the entrance\exit of the amphitheater. Have made plans in June to visit this wilderness once again. I very much doubt being able to find someone willing to trek with me in the summer heat out there. :) It is spring break here and will be taking the kids camping the next few days amongst the redwoods and along the coastline. A great weekend to all!!!

All I can do is look at this in awe - realizing the number of years for Mother Nature to carve this out so we can appreciate the beauty

I'm a little late in welcoming you back, but I do so most enthusiastically. I hope things go well with you. This is so beautiful! Another to go in my favs of these formations! I love the round swirls on the right, the sharp ridge just above them and the way it curves down and around into the rock wall. I love the left side where it looks like water rippled sand. This is definitely on my list of places I'd like to see, though I'll admit, not in June. Beautiful shot!
