Description

This is a second installment to the original "Surrender" image. I wanted to re-visit this image by creating a widescreen version taken from a different vantage point. I also updated the water, the lighting, and atmosphere with more details and reflections for more realism. (Cinema 4D, PoserPRO, Vue, Photoshop CS4)

This is a wonderfully enrapturing vision, Everett. Sure .. the water is stunning .. but my eyes fall for the wholistic combination of elements. The composition is cinematic .. the POV is that of one immersed within the water and submisive to the subject. That subject is both universal and primordial .. one needs no language or cultural background to interpret the scene. And lastly .. straight to my heart .. your embrace of shadows for this vision. A beautiful and inspiring work overall. One which I am taking home to hang on my wall. Warm regards, Terry

Yes, the sweep of the scene puts the work in a whole new perspective. This is one image where the colored version works better and I think it has to do with the strong use of clean reflections that work so well with the black chrome. I only wish this image had filled my entire monitor; that would have been perfect.
