Description

I think this is finished. I made some alterations to the comms dish and the engine bell, and added a small window to the command module, below the cockpit windows, to suggest a second deck. Finally, I couldn't resist adding a little Union Flag. I've decided that it's a NERVA powered, Near Earth Object probe, launched by the British government (in the Space: 1999-verse)in the late 1980s. Thanks to everyone for their helpful and encouraging comments on previous posts!

You do some insanely cool detail work. I always hated Space:1999 with the whole flying FTL moon and such, but loved their models. I don't remember them having such a great looking model as this. Wow, you did good.

Beautiful job of detailing! And a great model, overall. Thanks for the multiple views. I really like the mass of the forward tank cluster, kinda gives it a "big shoulders" look. A NERVA engine makes a lot of sense–is it a bigger brother to the ones the Eagles use?
