Okay, maybe not eight continuous months .. but I began working on it last August.    This is Gabriela, a Stephanie 1 character created by Jose Silva (3Dream) hence the title of the work.  Some of you may have seen an other single portrait of Gabriela by this title which I posted in August.  The title was meant for this triple portrayal but as the other portrait developed it requested to be posted alone.  This was partially due to the hair in that other image.  You see, near to everyone at Ren' knows that if there is one thing Jose adores, and is master of, it is beautiful hair.  So .. it would have been a sin to crop out Gabriela's hair in the first portrait.    As you know, sometimes when you put a work down it can take a while before you come back around to finishing it.  So it was in this case. Eight months, actually.    If you would like to work with Gabriela yourself, Jose has made that very easy for you as she is freely available at his site: www.arrow3d.com    Let me remind you, she is a Stephanie 1 character .. although you do yourself a slight to disregard her because of her age.  ;-)  As I wrote in the earlier post, if you have long moved on from the elder generation models or are relatively new to Poser/Daz let me encourage you to spend some time with the pre-4 figures.  The elder models are far from obsolete.  Yes, there are many advantages to the latest figures, but there are many beautiful and high quality characters designed for the earlier generations.    Plus .. now that Daz makes all the base figures available for free, including Stephanie 1, it is much more affordable to explore the wonders of the many talented merchants who have been working at character craft for years.    If you have not been there yet, the Daz index for Free Base Figures lives here.    If you do work with Gabriela and enjoy the experience, be sure to give a shout out to Jose .. she's still very special to him.  And don't worry about calling late .. he never sleeps .. too busy crafting in the workshop.
