Description

There's a certain bench at the Arboretum. It's near a place where gravel path intersects with calm backwater, where herons stand just beyond the reach of a good lens. Kids and dogs love to play there, ducks congregate and sit in a row on a half-submerged log. People walk, stroll, jog along the path, some oblivious to the beautiful surroundings, some nodding and smiling at their fellow pedestrians. I wonder if they notice a middle-aged couple sitting close together on that bench in the cooling twilight, taking photographs of the sky? Perhaps a 20-something thinks, "Look at those old people ... who do they think they're kidding?" The "old people" smile and snap off another shot.

Nice shot...I like what Chipka said...As for "those old people" well...they're far cooler than most 20-somethings who aren't even human yet.
