Great shot, that's a very interesting building, going by the windows on the tower there has to be stairs winding up the inside wall.

A quasi-fortress! Excellent composition with lots of contrast, Dana! I like the circle of windows at the top, probably designed to help protect the structure from intruders and/or invaders. You can fire a rifle from at least a 300-degree arc from them.

Looks pretty well maintained it must have been abandoned recently. How sad, it was probably someone's dream home until they became upside-down in their mortgage. Beautiful house of lost dreams and a fantastic shot.

This is gorgeous! Aimless wanderings provide so many riches to those able to see them, and this is the proof! I love the architecture and the way this has an oddly Mediterranean feel. This is a stunning piece of work! I love your capture of the light and crispness of the whole thing. Marvelous!
