Another example of a quilt barn, I hope you like this one, it is one I made a while ago when I was just learning photo shop and as you can see I was playing a bit but I sort of liked the results...
I've been busy with a few things so I haven't posted as much as I like but hopefully soon I will have more time. We had some water damage so I have been dealing with all that, insurance adjusters, cleaning crews and all that fun stuff, and now I get to re do my bathroom, yippee.. and I had to have my computer serviced and reloaded and now I can not get photoshop 6 to load so I am frustrated with that, I could go out and buy the new version but I prefer the one I have.
And my daughter is going to the senior prom Friday so well I probably don't have to say more there, lol other than the preparations we've had with that. Tomorrow I am taking her to have her nails done.. la de dah.. and she wanted to go to a tanning salon, she asked me if I was against those, lol she knows me well, and I said umm yes, I told her we have a beautiful large deck why not go out there and get a tan.. and she said well I doubt I could get a tan in a month.. by the way she is using her money that she earned playing in a concert for these extra items . I sprang for the dress and shoes though.. I will try to upload a photo of her and her date for you to all see. Have a great day!

haven't tot of that song in ages... fits the image to a "T" have fun setting up for the Prom... it's one of those once in a lifetime things... until she goes to University...then watch out!

One of my favorite songs. You know, I think your post work makes this a more interesting picture than if you had a real sky with real stars. Very creative work. Isn't owning a home fun?

The lyrics describe the photo perfectly... but having said that, I feel the colour saturation takes away from the 'Quilt- barn' colours, which I would have preferred to see, IMHO. BB

A magenta/mauve/purple barn? With a quilt symbol on top? Give me a teeny break! Maybe in the Land of Oz, but not here in reality land, Lynell! In any event, whether real or fantasy, a terrific and colorful composition, young lady! And the stars look like stars are supposed to look.

A lovely barn quilt you spotted here. I don't envy you all the work to get ready for the senior prom. I well remember the frock I just 'had' to buy for my daughter and she only wore it once. LOL.

There is more to reality than what's on the surface. I think this image captures a lot of the feel of Van Gogh's painting. Some times it seems we are more creative with a new tool than later when we have learned all the techniques.
