Description

I know...it is a rhododendron. Flower IDs are not my strong suit but after consulting with a close friend and googling some images, I know I got the name right:-))) Found this bloom among hundreds of others on a very big bush in a cemetery yesterday. Bill:) P.S. My time on the computer may be sorely curtailed for the next couple of days...but I'll be catching up as I can. "Admiralty Head Light"

I plant flowers from seeds every years usually a different variety, its a good way to learn about them when you are nurturing them so closely.... I got that from my dad.. mine don't grow quite as beautiful as his always did though, must be something to that California sun he had on his side. Beautiful image

This is just beautiful! I love that lavender shade ... it's one of my favorites. A gorgeous rhody, indeed. I see you took it with your little point-and-shoot, and the result you got with that is quite stunning. Gorgeous image!
