Description
The horizontal and vertical lines along with the colours in this shot just appealed to me.
This is a small dam that keeps a local slough in good fishing order. Although I've many a time sat and watched all the pole-casters (not a fisher myself) and have never once actually seen anyone pull anything from the water. I've seen many fish jumping just beyond how far they can cast though.

There is something quite interesting about this image: the rusty metal bars, the different textures of metal & concrete make this really incredible... but the colours of the weathered concrete, especially the different shapes so many bends,twists & straights, quite a small architectual feat in itself and makes this a good composition, BTW smart fish ! BB
