Description
Taken a few weeks ago, a former farm that was donated to the forest preserve district. It has been turned into a park of sorts with all the buildings still intact but one is not allowed to enter any of them. Most are padlocked.
I would imagine that the less "sign observant" have been inside the few that are broken down enough to give access if you really wanted to get inside. Personally I thought the sheds too rickety looking to do so.

this is quite haunting...quite a marvelous and brooding picture! I love the mood of this. It's deliciously complex and the desaturated colors really do work incredibly well. This is unrelated, but I'm listening to a composition by Arvo Pärt: one of my all-time favorite composers ever. I bring this up because in a way, this image fits perfectly with a number of his compositions and I'm currently listening to "Collage on a Theme Under Bach" and it fits this image in an eerie way.
